About Rotary
Who We Are
What is Rotary?
The Rotary Club of Wyong Toukley is a small but mighty club, proud of our informal and inclusive style. We are a fun, dynamic group of like-minded people who enjoy fellowship while making a real difference in the community — locally, nationally, and internationally.
Our members range from younger professionals bringing fresh ideas to experienced Rotarians with a wealth of knowledge and mentoring spirit. This mix of energy and experience makes our club both vibrant and supportive.
Every member has a voice. Together, we decide which causes and projects most need our support, ensuring our efforts reflect the needs of the community we serve. From fundraising events to hands-on service projects, we are committed to living Rotary’s motto of Service Above Self.
We welcome new members who share our passion for service, fellowship, and fun. Joining our club means connecting with a global network of Rotary while helping to create lasting change right here on the Central Coast.
Meetings
We meet on the first and third Wednesday of each month at The Doylo (Doyalson RSL).
Our gatherings are a mix of formal meetings with inspiring guest speakers and relaxed social catch-ups. From time to time, we also enjoy vocational visits to local organisations such as the SES, Ambulance, or Fire Station, giving members a chance to connect directly with community services.
Guests are always welcome to join us — simply come along, enjoy a meal, and experience Rotary fellowship in action.
Rotary International
What is Rotary?
Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbours, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
Solving real problems takes real commitment and vision. For more than 110 years, Rotary’s people of action have used their passion, energy, and intelligence to take action on sustainable projects. From literacy and peace to water and health, we are always working to better our world, and we stay committed to the end.
Our mission is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
Rotarians have a simple motto: Service Above Self
Our Four-Way Test
Our Four-Way test is a simple ethical framework to help us in our lives every day. Feel welcome to use it yourself - it's pretty simple:
Is it the TRUTH?
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

End Polio
Polio eradication is Rotary’s top philanthropic priority. It was Rotary who initiated the quest for ending polio around the world, we started in 1989 when there were 350,000 people annually contracting polio, and in 2018 there have been only 10 cases so far (as at 8 June 2018).
In 1988, when Rotary began working with its partners in the Global Polio Eradication Initiative, there were more than 350,000 polio cases in over 125 countries. Since then, more than 2.5 billion children have been immunized against polio, and the incidence of polio has decreased 99.9 percent.
