Mitch Cowan – President

Mitch has been a member of Northlakes Toukley Rotary since 2007 and has held multiple positions on the board over these years including three terms as President. Mitch recently sold his air conditioning business ( Twinlakes Airconditioning & Solar) that he and his brother Scott owned and operated for 23 years and is now hoping to be able to retire. He and his wife of 37 years Carolyn have four children and 5 grandchildren and have lived on the Central Coast for the past 35 years.

Peter McCloskey – Secretary / Treasurer

Peter has been a Rotarian for approx. 28 yrs. and a member of three Rotary Clubs – Albury/Hume, Gosford & Northlakes Toukley. Across the years, Peter has held most Club portfolios including Club President of Albury/Hume Rotary and Northlakes Toukley Rotary. A Chartered Accountant, and recently retired, Peter’s skill base centred upon corporate governance, leadership and management of organisations operating within the community/ not-for-profit sectors especially those entities assisting the frail, aged and people with a disability.

Jan Pryor – International Services Chair

Jan has undertaken many roles with Northlakes Toukley Rotary including two terms as President during the years of 2020-22. During this time, she implemented two global grants, one to purchase vital oxygen and medical equipment during COVID and another for a dental clinic in Nepal. Jan is also on the 9685 District Foundation committee and the District team for 2022-23. She is also District 9685 RAWCS Co-ordinator where she oversees the progress of, on average, 80 Australian and international projects.

Jan has had a long and passionate career as a local high school teacher and is the founder of a highly successful charity called The Didi Foundation (Nepal). This charity provides quality education to highly disadvantaged women who have never had the opportunity to have an education or reach their full potential. Ever thought of participating in an overseas humanitarian field trip – talk to Jan.

Roshni Sinha – Membership Chair

Roshni joined Northlakes Toukley Rotary in 2014 however, she has been associated with Rotary for over 40 years as she married a Rotarian and has a connection with Rotary clubs in the Philippines and Canada. Since joining she has held several board positions including Club president .

Justin Dover – Youth Services Chair

Justin has been a member of Northlakes Toukley Rotary since 2010. He has held the roles of President, Treasurer, Public Relations and is currently Youth Director. An experienced aged care executive, Justin has worked in the aged care sector for the past 28 years and is currently CEO of Alino Living a large provider of aged care services across the Central Coast. He gained an MBA in related studies in 2017 and has completed gerontology courses at the University of Southern California. He is on numerous industry advisory committees and an accomplished speaker at forums and conferences both within Australia and internationally. Justin has a passion for advancing the rights of the aged and was the recipient of the Ralph Bryant Vocational Excellence award for services to Aged Care in 2021. Most weekends you will find Justin & wife Kim, caravan in toe , parked on the side of a river – somewhere that does not have internet access.
